| Details | This is the 1967 rerelease British quad film poster marking John Wayne's directorial debut. This subject was an obsession for Wayne and cost him a small fortune to complete securing finance on the condition he took the role of Davy Crockett with filming in San Antonio, Texas the sight of the most famous battle. The highly detailed artwork is a tribute to this historical event with printing in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham there is a 5 inch closed tear at the side border bottom right not affecting the artwork and a few old tape marks again in the borders off the artwork. |
