| Details | This is the British quad film poster from 1969 for "Carry on Camping" in great rolled condition with tape marks in the corners as seen. Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew (Nottingham) Ltd. Excellent artwork centred around the tent and the camp stove - always the biggest perils to the happiness of the camper unless you happen to be in a field with a goat of course. We have a humorous tagline "The 'Carry on' team - refusing to let sleeping bags lie!" The team all look really happy and deserve full marks for their performances considering the filming was conducted in freezing temperatures and even the grass had to be sprayed green as it was so muddy! Condition - This film poster has paper-loss in the borders and historic water damage as seen at the bottom left with two small patches at the right and left mid-crossfolds. Pinholes in the corners and small scuffs as seen. The colours are bright and if you like an old poster with history it displays well. |
