| Details | This British quad cinema poster image we have not come across before. It is interesting as Vivien Leigh is wearing the green dress. Walter Plunkett the costume designer "noticed from his readings that Scarlett seemed to be wearing the color green most of the time. While in Atlanta he obtained Mitchell's permission to introduce more variety into Scarlett's wardrobe. She said that Selznick was entitled to dress Scarlett in any colors he pleased. Green was merely her favourite colour." We believe that although this image is an early image this film poster probably dates from 1961. Stamped on the back of the film poster is "Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures Ltd. Belfast." |
