| Details | Early Eros British Quad film poster starring Bud Abbott and Lou Costello and introducing The Ink Spots. Printed in England by Stafford & Co. of Netherfield, Nottingham & London. Please note the conservation tape on reverse which acts to strengthen the top horizontal fold line. This film poster is a good example of early stone litho printing and features the old three-penny-bit British board of film censors A certificate logo and the Eros films logo. The comedians are sporting Dorothy Lamour's sarong look which was very fashionable at the time but not usually worn by bus drivers who find themselves in the South Seas! |
