| Details | This special British Quad film poster remarkably features the complete article from the Sun newspaper dated 17th June 1981 together with the "Raiders of The Lost Ark" logo and quotes designed to whip up "Ark Fever!" which the Sun reports is "set to sweep Britain". This rare British Quad is the first we have ever seen and was produced following the article in the Sun dated 17th June for the film which was released on July 30th 1981 at 350 cinemas throughout the country. The film would prove to be the biggest success of the year and marked a turn of fortune for Harrison Ford who had previously worked in a plant store and was working as a carpenter when spotted by George Lucas. A very rare film poster. |
