| Details | Roy Minton wrote this as a play firstly. Unable to get airtime on the BBC "Play for Today" due to the violence he persuaded Director Alan Clarke to make the film the following year. The result was an extremely popular film which attempted to shed light on a very real problem - Borstal life warts and all. Folded film poster with no pinholes. A 1/2 inch closed tear to the top right side edge which we have repaired with archival tape to the reverse. |
