| Details | "To boldly go...." and still going over 24 years later must be some kind of record and that doesn't count the tv series which predates the film. Birney Lettick created fantasy artwork two years previous for "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" which is perhaps why he was chosen for this design. The poster evokes space travel and " beam me up, Scotty!" visual imagery. Please note: The cinema manager had attached a show time snipe at the foot of the poster and there are old sellotape marks below the title with a little paper lift. The film poster features the printed signature of Bob Peak the artist. |
