| Details | Robert Louis Stevenson's novel had been the source for three previous outings but this one is the best. Michael Caine looks superb here with sword and flintlock illustrated as a towering figure with the Scottish Highlands in the background. This film poster from 1971 features detailed artwork of the English red coats fighting the Scottish highlanders with the added bonus of a painting of Vivien Heilbron as 'Catriona'. The colours are very deep. The film poster was printed in England by W.E. Berry of Bradford and has three vertical fold lines with some brown spots as seen in the bottom right corner. |
