| Details | This is a very collectable poster as Robert Altman's study of life in the Korean War field hospital came before the TV series and has since become truly valued as the catalyst. Alan Alda appeared later to make the role of Hawkeye his own as did Loretta Swit as Hot Lips Houlahan. This film ironically lost out to "Patton" at the Oscars and Altman and Kellerman were rewarded with nominations. The Ring Lardner Jr. script won an Oscar. Couple this with "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and you have a double-bill to savour. Paper loss in top right corner, tape marks and a small area of paper lift. |
