| Details | Great British horror "X" certificate double-bill film poster from the late sixties. "The Blood Demon" was directed by Harald Reinl from the story "The Pit and the Pendulum" by Edgar Allen Poe. Wicked Count Regula played by Christopher Lee is executed for his crimes but is brought back to life as in "Dracula Prince of Darkness" and is painted here killing Reinl's Wife Karin Dor. The director and his wife made many films together this particular one becoming a worldwide cult hit and inspiring many similar films in Germany. |
