| Details | This is a rare 'X' Certificate Compton release double-bill English quad film poster. Both films were made in 1966 with 'Mission Bloody Mary' being an Italian production and 'Secrets of a Windmill Girl' coming from the Michael Klinger & Tony Tenser Compton stable - The Compton logo appears on both films on the film poster. Spy films were all the rage in the Sixties and this is clearly an attempt to cash in on the success of James Bond with a similar pose from Ken Clark and a scantily dressed lady on the bed sipping a martini. Tony Tenser was later to form 'Tigon' and titillate the cinema going public with many more 'X' certificate films. |
