| Details | This is the first release British quad film poster launching the "Carry on" series of films to an unsuspecting British public. The stall is set out here with a mixture of the pictures of the stars and pen & ink drawings of their hilarious antics. The theme of the army was chosen as this would be sure to strike a chord with the public. The central photograph is of William Hartnell playing the part of Sergeant Grimshawe and later to become famous as the first Doctor Who. |
