Details In 1964 director Sergio Leone completely restyled the Western. With the casting of Clint Eastwood as "The Man with no Name", the music of Ennio Morricone, and the use of extreme close-up cinematography the Western became a truly great genre once again. The original Belgian film poster didn't even feature the Directors name as the lack of confidence in this Italian Spaghetti Western meant that they even invented a fictional American sounding director "Bob Robertson" thinking they had to make the film look more commercially attractive! It was left to this early 1970's film poster to give the director proper credit and also recognise Ennio Morricone for his wonderful musical score.
