This British Pathe film of George Orwell's novel pictures the possibility of love and humanity in a totalitarian state. The world of "Big Brother" and the "Thought Police" still resonate today. The images on these cards have a power and the slogans "anti-sex league", "Freedom is slavery" and "Long live Big Brother" are visualised here for all to see. Difficult to find cards. |
