| Details | The third of the Planet of the Apes movies. Directed by Don Taylor from the script of Paul Dehn based on the characters created by Pierre Boulle. The apes become more human and advanced, the artwork reflecting this by depicting cleverly the couple complete with baby. The mirror surround invites analysis, both introspective and retrospective. A great film of two halves, the first amusing and very observational of modern life as seen through the eye of the ape and the second darker. Costume design is by Morton Haack. This is a wonderful poster. |
