| Details | John Wayne plays Rooster Cogburn and wins the Oscar for best actor. Glen Campbell's role as Texas Ranger was offered to Elvis Presley but Wayne was not one for second billing and maybe there were difficulties squaring the deal with the Colonel. This first release film poster from Paramount Pictures in 1969 has a small area of paper lift at the left, top and side borders as seen to which we have applied restoration tape on the reverse in this area. Displays very well and has very good colours and print quality. |
