| Details | Sheer class 1980 film poster with superb logo for "The Blues Brothers" with glass and hat silhouette. The main parts are played by John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd as likeable criminal brothers on a mission from God looking to recreate their old rhythm and blues band to raise money for their orphanage. Cameo appearances from music legends Ray Charles, Cab Calloway and Aretha Franklin who sings Freedom in the role of Soulfood cafe owner, John Candy has a roll and Carrie Fisher plays the mystery woman. James Brown is the reverend Cleophus James. Director John Landis stages a spectacular car chase including Neo-Nazis and the Chicago police with this poster design recreating this section of the film. A great film poster with just a red title bleed showing felt pen from the reverse to the front on the left hand side. |
