| Details | This is an extremely rare Australian first release one sheet film poster from 1979 and one of the very few to feature Michael Myers. Director John Carpenter launches the career of Jamie Lee Curtis as a scream queen and rejuvenates the career of Donald Pleasance as the creepy psychiatrist. This is the film in which John Carpenter launched the "Slasher" genre of horror films and well plotted it is too complete with his own amazing musical film score. This film poster sells in good condition for very high four figure sums. The one for sale here whilst not having been folded does have a great deal of crease marks which can be clearly seen. Bearing in mind the nature and content of the film many fans may regard these distress marks favourably given the genre of the film. Original and having had a life this one came to us directly from a lady cinema owner in New Zealand. |
