| Details | The star of the film is the Basenji breed of dog and if you get the chance it's worth finding out more about this breed of dog. They don't bark - they yodel! and its almost like they're having a conversation with you. The film poster "Good-bye, My Lady" dates from 1956 and has great artwork of the boy and his dog together with the book cover from the author James Street. The film was a Warner Brothers film interestingly with Sidney Poitier appearing and from the production company of John Wayne, Batjac. Printing is from Stafford & Co. of Netherfield, Nottingham and London with just a neat pinhole in each corner. |
