British artist Jock Hinchliffe's skies are varied from the multicoloured tempestious to the sunlit magnificent. Jean Simmons is painted in the title role as Desirée Clary and appears on the front cover illustration of the best selling book by Annemarie Selinko. This British Quad film poster was printed in England by Stafford & Co of Netherfield, Nottingham & London in 1954 and has survived well with wonderful deep colours. |
